At Top Bat Gear, we stand behind our premium baseball and softball equipment just like we stand behind home plate. While we’re confident you’ll love your gear, we understand that sometimes returns or exchanges are necessary. Our policy is designed to be as straightforward as a fastball down the middle.
Our Return Promise
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery for most items in their original, unused condition with all tags and packaging intact. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we’ll make the process as smooth as a well-oiled glove.
Items That Can’t Be Returned
For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Batting gloves (Bruce Bolt or other brands)
- Batter’s elbow and leg guards
- Catcher’s gear (due to specialized fitting)
- Any personalized or custom-ordered equipment
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
Follow these steps to send a pitch-perfect return:
- Contact Our Team within 15 days of delivery at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return.
- Wait for Approval – We’ll respond within 24 hours (faster than a 100mph fastball) with return instructions.
- Package Your Item securely in the original packaging with all tags attached.

Return Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product). For exchanges, we’ll cover the cost of shipping the replacement item to you.
Refund Timeline & Methods
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days (about as long as a rain delay)
- Refund Method: Your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Bank Processing: Additional 5-10 business days depending on your financial institution
Exchange Process
Want to swap for a different size or model? Follow the same return process but specify “EXCHANGE” in your email. We’ll ship your new item as soon as we process the return (standard shipping times apply).
Damaged or Defective Items
If your gear arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the issue. We’ll send a replacement faster than a stolen base attempt!
